RULES & REGULATIONS
We follow the standards set by British Gymnastics on areas such as Safeguarding, coaching Excellence and Health & Safety. The welfare of our members is paramount to us and we have a qualified welfare officer here at BTTA. We also have strict code of conduct that must be followed by members, coaches, families and customers. Full details of our welfare officer as well as our policies and code of conduct can be found in the waiting area on coaching days.
PHOTOGRAPHY AT BTTA
We may take photography or video footage at BTTA for the use of training analysis to give a gymnast live delay video feedback, for our website and for promotional purposes. If you would like to exclude your child please let coaches know and confirm this by filling out our exemption form.
We know just how proud those moments can be when your child achieves a skill for the first time or you see them enjoying themselves doing a hobby they love. It is not our intention at BTTA to prevent parents from taking pictures or videos of their children but to ensure photographic images are carefully monitored to protect the vulnerable and deter anyone with undesirable intentions. Here at BTTA we adopt the British Gymnastics policy statement for the use of filming via camera, video or mobile phone. Any parent or amateur or professional photographer or any person using picture recording equipment must provide the Academy with all the relevant details and have permission from the club to do so. Filming your child from the waiting area during their session is NOT permitted.
